Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said changing the situation of the country is now the main priority as change of government is common.
At a programme organised by CPN (UML) Sindhupalchowk District Committee at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar today to congratulate and extend best wishes to the Prime Minister, he mentioned that Nepali people are excited with the formation of a new government.
"Government change is not a big issue. Government is changed time and again. This change has raised hope and trust among the people," shared PM Oli.
The government would focus its attention to control corruption, development construction and to provide relief to the people, he added, expressing commitment to carry out activities in favour of the people maintaining good governance.
Prime Minister Oli reiterated the commitment of carrying out activities keeping the people in centre. Sharing the reality that landslides, inundation and flood have caused huge loss of lives and property at some places of the country due to monsoon, he explained that it has become difficult to be protected from such disaster due to geographical condition of the country.
He underlined that the first meeting of the cabinet has put disaster risk reduction at the first priority. The government was positive to provide installment amount for the construction of houses of Jajakot earthquake victims, stressed Prime Minister Oli.
The PM shared that arrangement of parapet and flood lights would be made at Kirtipur-based Cricket Stadium within 300 days.
