Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal visited the National Monument in Tiananmen, Beijing, China and offered a bouquet of flowers at the memorial.
This monument is built in the memory of revolutionary people.
It was built as a national monument of China in memory of the warriors who were martyred during the revolutionary struggle in the 19th and 20th centuries.
It is located in front of Mao Zedong's mausoleum on the southern side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The monument was built in accordance with the resolution of the First Plenary Session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference passed on November 30, 1949, and construction lasted from August 1952 to May 1958. The architect of the monument was Liang Sicheng.
