Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is to embark on a four-day official visit to India from May 31.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to visit India at the cordial invitation of his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi from May 31-June 3.
PM Dahal will be accompanied by ministers, secretaries and senior officials of the government of Nepal.
During the visit, Prime Minister Dahal would pay a courtesy call on Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Similarly, he will hold delegation-level talks with Indian PM Modi at Hyderabad House on June 1 and both Prime Ministers would organise a joint press conference after the meeting. Prime Minister of India, Modi, would host a luncheon in honour of Prime Minister Dahal and his delegation.
Likewise, PM Dahal is scheduled to address Nepal-India Business Summit to be jointly organised by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
PM Dahal will attend the welcome programme to be organised by Nepali Ambassador to India, Shankar Prasad Sharma, and will hold discussion with Nepali community.
Prime Minister Dahal will also visit Ujjain and Indore of Madhya Pradesh during his visit. The visit is expected to further strengthen the age-old, multifaceted cordial relations between Nepal and India.
