Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed to increase the number of vaccination centres to make the vaccine against COVID-19 easily available to people.
PM Deuba, after hearing the complaints that people have to stay in long queues at the vaccination centres, directed Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi and Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population, Laxman Aryal, to do the needful, according to the PM's Secretariat.
PM Deuba has also urged to make arrangements for vaccination maintaining the health protocols.
Earlier, after assuming office, Prime Minister Deuba during the first cabinet meeting pledged to vaccinate all groups of people who need to be vaccinated by mid-April next year.
