Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairperson of CPN UML, on Sunday night, made a six-point proposal to maintain the unity of the party.

Oli has mentioned that he is ready to change the party structure back to the way it was on May 16, 2018. The CPN UML had forged a unity with the CPN (Maoist Centre) on May 17, 2018, eight months after an agreement was made between the two parties to unite.

He has also stated that there will be no action taken against any party leader or member for past mistakes and there will be no prejudice or discrimination against anybody within the party.

Moreover, the prime minister has also mentioned that the structure of the various committees and sister organisations of the party will be changed to what it was before May 17, 2018, and further work will be carried out accordingly.

PM Oli has also stated that he expects all party members to contribute to the unity of the party by making it stronger and more disciplined. He added that the party would now follow the ideology that it was founded upon.
