Policies and programmes of Province 1 endorsed

The policies and programmes introduced by the government of Province 1 have been endorsed by a majority. The endorsement of the policies and programmes has paved the way for the government to announce the budget for the next fiscal year 2078/79.

Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai while introducing the policies and programmes requested the opposition parties to withdraw the amendment proposals. He assured the opposition lawmakers that their suggestions would be included in the coming days and he would look into ways to amend the points the opposition parties have sought.

The provincial government will announce the budget for next fiscal year 2078/79 on June 15.
