President Ram Chandra Paudel has said the sectors facing challenges have witnessed positive results with the policy and reform measures government put in place.
Addressing the joint meeting of the federal parliaments today, President Paudel viewed encouraging achievements were made in a short span of installation of present government. "Economic indicators are positive and national economy is getting on the right track," he added.
In the recent time, positive impact was witnessed in revenue, foreign assistance and foreign investment, he said, adding that foreign currency reserve has upped, interest rate (of bank loan) eased, and process to include millions of Nepali migrant workers into social security scheme moved ahead.
"Government has moved ahead with a clear roadmap to bring in remittance via formal channel and curb revenue leakage," President Paudel reminded, adding that public service delivery has also improved significantly.
