Prez Bhandari writes to Indian counterpart requesting for vaccines

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has written a letter to her Indian counterpart Ram Nath Kovind requesting for vaccines against the coronavirus. She has requested him to make available the required doses of Covishield vaccine for those who have yet to get their second dose in Nepal.

Till Tuesday, there were 21.13 lakh people in Nepal who had been administered the first dose of Covishield and awaiting the second dose. Meanwhile, India has already provided 20 lakh vaccines to Nepal till date.
