President Ramchandra Poudel has reached Jajarkot, an earthquake-affected area. President Paudel reached the Jajarkot hospital and took information about the condition of the injured.
The injured asked President Paudel to provide treatment, food, and a living base including the construction of houses.
President's press advisor Kiran Pokharel informed that he will take care of everything necessary for the earthquake victims including shelter, and food, and for that, he will talk to the government. Adviser Pokharel, quoting the words of the President, said - ``Short-term and long-term needs are identified and arrangements are made for them. No need to worry. I will talk to the government.
Chief District Officer of Jajarkot Suresh Sunar informed about the damage caused by the earthquake.
Similarly, the doctors of the district hospital were informed about the condition of the injured. President Paudel reached Jajarkot from Surkhet to understand the situation of the citizens affected by the earthquake last Friday night.
President Paudel postponed his visit to Europe on Monday saying that the situation after the earthquake was not favorable.
Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, State MP of Jajarkot, and Chief of Army Staff were present along with President Paudel.
