Property worth more than Rs 10 million was gutted in the fire that occurred in a school in Phedang Rural Municipality-2 of Tehrathum district today
The fire broke out at the administrative building of Siddhakali Secondary School in the early morning.
According to headteacher Kul Prasad Dulal, physical assets including furniture, documents, and archives were completely damaged in the fire.

According to inspector Komal Thakur at Tehrathum District Police Office (DPO), the fire the broke out at around 3:00 am came under control at 10:00 am with a joint effort of police, locals and students.
