The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has unanimously approved the name of the proposed Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Denmark. Today's meeting of the committee has approved the names of Vasudev Mishra for Sri Lanka and Prof. Dr. Ramswarth Roy for Denmark.
Among the 20 ambassadors proposed by the government, there were complaints about Mishra and Rai. Committee Chairman Laxman Lal Karna informed that the names of 18 people without any complaints have already been approved. He said that the meeting unanimously approved the two ambassadors after finding no evidence for the complaint.
One hundred percent of the parliamentarians present at the meeting approved the name of the ambassador.
