The Financial Bill, 2078 introduced by the government of Province 1 to implement its economic proposals has been endorsed today.
Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Province 1, Tanka AngbuhangLimbu, had tabled the financial bill at the National Assembly during its eighth session which was also the budget session of the assembly.
While tabling the bill Minister Limbu had said that it was necessary to review the jurisdiction of the province. He also mentioned that the tax net in the province was limited and a Revenue Investigation Committee will be formed to expand the tax net in the province.
Minister Limbu also said it would not be enough to work on just the grants that are provided by the federal government and the recommendations of the committee will be implemented.
