Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has said that the activism of teachers is needed to convince the public schools of Nepal that they are of good quality.
Addressing the Diamond Jubilee Ceremony of Bishwa Niketan Mavic in Tripureshwor today, he said that the government has agreed to address the demands of teachers by holding discussions with the Nepal Teachers Federation.
Minister Poudel stressed that a ten-year education reform action plan was being formulated and that the government and all should make a joint resolution to make public education quality. He informed that the government was giving policy and budget to the community schools for physical infrastructure, educational reform and program improvement and added that the government was always ready for the education reform process.
Herambaraj Kandel, principal of the school, said that the educational level of the school has improved due to the cooperation and hard work of the teachers, parents and students of the school. Teachers and students who excelled in the program were awarded.
The school was established in 2003 BS as one of the largest community schools in the country.
