Public Service Commission prepares to postpone examinations

Discussions have started on the issue of postponing the examination of the Public Service Commission due to the surge of COVID cases. A regular meeting of the commission on Thursday will decide to postpone the examination.

Assistant Spokesperson of the Commission Devi Prasad Subedi said that internal discussions are underway on the issue. He said, "So far, we are conducting examinations in accordance with the safety protocols. And informal discussions have started on what to do now."

The commission is under pressure as number of staff have been infected by the virus. 

The Commission is currently conducting examinations and is also preparing for the examination of the Deputy Secretary. However, they are discussing postponing the examination for the time being. 

While the number of COVID infected is growing day by day Kathmandu District Administration Office has not stopped the examinations.

The new order issued by the District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur allowed schools, colleges to conduct pre-determined examinations, manpower admission examinations, foreign language examinations for foreign employment following public health standards.
