The death toll has gone up till nine from Ramechhap bus accident this morning. Twenty-four injured have been sent to hospitals for treatment.
The bus (Ba 3 Kha 8396) coming to Kathmandu from Ramechhap met with an accident at Lubhughat this morning. Five men and four women died on the spot in the accident, said Gita Bista Chaulagain, vice-chairperson of Sunapati Village Municipality.
According to her, 21 injured people have been rushed to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre and 3 seriously injured were sent to Kathmandu by helicopter.
