Speaker Devraj Ghimire has said that he will perform the role of Speaker by keeping responsibility and accountability towards the people as the first priority. He said this while expressing his gratitude for electing him as Speaker at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Saturday.
Speaker Ghimire urged the MPs to embrace good constitutional and parliamentary practices. He said that it is his first responsibility to keep the political activism and involvement of the past and make the office dignity and role of the Speaker always dignified. He expressed his commitment to following the good practices developed during the parliamentary practice.
