Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Prakash Chandra Lohani undertook an initiative to establish the Crisis Management Society, Nuwakot. The society aims at carrying out rescue and provide support to the victims of natural disasters, epidemic diseases among other catastrophes.
The society in RPP President Lohani's care comprises other active social workers in the district — Bharat Jung Upreti, Jhanak Pyakurel, Bharat Prasad Pathak, Deepak Kumar Rai, Poshnath Dhungana, Ana Bahadur Pyakurel, Nani Maiya Acharya, Gokarna Raj Sitaula, Raju Thapa, Narendra Prasad Phuyal, Madhusudan Risal, Ananda Risal, Shyam Sundar Balami, Sita Khadka, Ram Nepali, Astha Maya Lama, Bishnu Prasad Sapkota, Kul Bahadur Khadgi, Krishna Bahadur Ghale alias Suraj, Shiva Adhikari, Min Bahadur Tamang.
Likewise, a seven-member working committee has been formed under the coordination of Krishna Prasad Pandey.
The society has six departments led by Janak Raj Pathak (Communication), Phani Raj Lohani (Resource Manangement), Sundar Pandey (Finance), Tej Lama (Volunteer), Jyoti Mudwari (Administration) and Shyam Krishna Gajurel (Health).
Likewise, Narayan Adhikari has been elected deputy chief for the Communication department, Kanchha Lama for Finance and Dipesh Pandey for Administration while Janak Raj Pande and Nischal Shahi are members of the Communication department. Similarly, Nawaraj Silwal and Ratna Prasad Rijal are members of Administration while Health department members are Indra Shrestha and Bishnu Haro Pande.
Meanwhile, RPP leaders and cadres have urged all to support the social organisation that aims at helping people affected by natural disasters.
