Rs 5 million worth of lights and flowers being decorated in Pashupati area on Mahashivaratri

In preparation for Mahashivaratri, electric lights have been installed in Pashupati area. Spokesperson of the Pashupati Area Development Fund, Revathi Raman Adhikari, informed the RSS that they have started making blinds in various places of the Pashupati area since Thursday with the help of donors in preparation for Mahashivaratri. It has become attractive after the electric lights started being lit in all the places of Pashupati area.

Spokesperson Adhikari said that the main area of ​​Pashupatinath temple will be decorated with flowers on March 3 and 4. The fund has been preparing to decorate the flower just a day before as the monkeys will pick the flowers. Donors have helped to decorate with electric lights and flowers. The Pashupati area is being decorated with electric lights and flowers on the occasion of Mahashivaratri with the help of Rs. 5 million from donors.

For this, the fund has only coordinated and facilitated. Donors themselves are employing workers to decorate with electric lights and flowers. On the empty wall of Pashupati area, painting of Lord Shiva and Parvati is being done at the expense of the fund. This year, Mahashivaratri festival is celebrated on March 30.

With the approach of Mahashivaratri, the activity in Pashupati area has increased. An attractive picture of God is painted on the blank wall. The Pashupati area looks beautiful with electric lights in some places. The saints who have come for Mahashivaratri have increased the crowd in the corners of Pashupati area. Free meals have been provided at Hansmandap, Nirmal Akhada, Bhashmeshwar Akhada, Annapurna Bhandar and other places.
