The Sanfe-Martadi highway linking the Bajura district headquarters has been obstructed since early this morning due to incessant rain.
Rain-triggered landslides in different parts of the highway have thrown the road traffic out of gear. The landslide at Amkot has collapsed the road causing disruption of vehicular movement.
Boulders rolling down from above have risked people's mobility on the road, shared Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at District Police Office Surya Thapa.
Landslide is continually taking place in different parts of the highway including at Barjugad, Amkot, Tapada, Pani Naula, and Olena.
DSP Thapa informed that a Nepal Police team has been mobilized to clear off the road.
