The Supreme Court has directed the government to be present at the court with documents related to the decision made by the government and also other relevant project documents of the Kaligandaki Diversion Project.
A single bench of Justice Tej Bahadur KC today has asked the government to be present with the aforementioned documents at the apex court on July 19.
A writ petition had been filed at the Supreme Court by advocate Tulsi Ram Pokhrel seeking an interim order after the government set up an office in Butwal to move ahead with works related to the Kaligandaki Diversion Project.
Justice KC has summoned both the parties of the case on July 19 to hold discussions regarding the interim order that has been sought by the writ petitioner. He has also asked the government to present a written reply.
