With the publication of the Supreme Court's verdict on the staff adjustment dispute, the way has been opened for the Public Service Commission to conduct the entire examination.
The Constitutional Bench of Permanent Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki, Justices Vishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Anil Kumar Sinha, Bam Kumar Shrestha and Tank Bahadur Moktan dismissed all the writ petitions related to the Public Service Commission and cleared the way for the examination.
"All the writ petitions related to the suspension of the Public Service Commission's examination have been dismissed", Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Paudel told Rasas, "With the decision, the way has been opened for the Public Service Commission to conduct all the stalled examinations." According to him, in the matter of staff adjustment, it is to be settled where there are vacancies, while the disputes of the provinces are to be settled in the provinces. All information will be known only after the full written text of the verdict.
Although the hearing on 99 writ petitions related to staff adjustment was completed on 17th Shrawan, the date was set for Sunday, but the decision was moved to today.
