One Heart Worldwide organisation, working in the health sector, has provided medical supplies worth Rs two million to Sindhupalchowk district to prevent and control coronavirus.
The organisation provided medical supplies to all 12 local levels of the district, Chautara Hospital and Health Office, Sindhupalchowk.
Programme Officer of the organisation, Sindhupalchowk, Nagendra Jung Shahi, said that all the medical supplies were brought to Chautara-based office of the organisation and distributed to local levels. Chautara hospital has received oxygen concentrators, oximeters, masks and sanitisers.
Chautara, Balefi, Jugal, Barhabise, Sunkoshi Bhotekoshi, Indrawati, Lisamkhupakhar and Tripurasundari have already got the support while the organization has not been able to send the medical goods to Helambu, Panchpokhari and Melamchi due to disaster including landslide and flood.
Earlier, the organization had handed over 10 oxygen-filled cylinders to Chautara hospital and provided financial assistance to flood victims of Helambu.
