Singer Pramod Kharel has expressed deep grief over the unpleasant incident that took place during his concert in Dhankuta on Saturday night.
Writing a status on social media, singer Kharel said, "I am deeply saddened by the unpleasant incident that happened at the Dhankuta concert yesterday. Also, I wish for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured at the venue.
At least 30 spectators were injured in the incident at the Dhankuta festival. Eighteen of them have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment, while some of the injured are being treated in Biratnagar.
Police informed that the incident took place when people were entering from the main gate of the festival, which was extremely crowded due to the performance of singer Pramod Kharel and the 'Houji Bingo' game.
