The provincial government of Sudurpaschim has announced a budget of more than Rs 30.33 billion for the next fiscal year 2078/79.
The government has allocated more than Rs 10.66 billion for recurrent expenditure for the next fiscal year. Similarly, it has allotted over Rs 17.65 billion for capital expenditure.
The budget announced for the next fiscal year 2078/79 is around Rs 3 billion less than what was announced for the current fiscal year. For the current fiscal year, the government had announced a budget of more than Rs 33.28 billion.
The budget for the next fiscal year also has a provision whereby each lawmaker will have the jurisdiction to spend Rs 30 million.
