The District Administration Office, Surkhet has instructed the concerned bodies for closing down all the quarries operating illegally in the district.
The DAO issued this directive through a press note on Friday.
“We direct for prompt closure of crusher industries found operating without license, registration, renewal and those established for the causes of specific projects which have already ended,” the press statement adds.
In the notice issued by Chief District Officer, Khagendra Prasad Rijal, local bodies and security bodies have been urged to monitor the operation of illegal industries and contribute for making them shut. The DAO has warned of stern action if the order was violated.
