Dr. Harry Bhandari, an American MLA of Nepali origin, who won in the "General Assembly" of the state of Maryland, USA, has taken oath. He won the election for the second time.
Bhandari is the first representative of Nepalese origin in the US state parliament. During the swearing-in ceremony, Bhandari took the oath by touching the Bhagwat Gita.
