Tansen-Tamghas road to remain closed for 10 hours daily

Tansen-Tamghas road will be closed for 10 hours for 15 days from Thursday.

Pradeep Niraula, Head of Road Division Office, Palpa, informed that road widening work has started in Sirukhark Malmul area of ​​Palpa's Ribdikot Rural Municipality, which falls under the Tansen-Tamghas road section.

"The Tansen-Tamghas road has been closed for some time as the work of widening the difficult road has been started," he said. "Ambulances, hearses, and other essential vehicles will be allowed to move to and fro depending on the situation. We have accelerated the work to complete it earlier than the specified time", he added. 

Niranjan Aryal, Engineer of the Road Division Office, Palpa, said that the work has been started according to the plan to widen the narrow, difficult road of about two kilometers in the Malmum area. According to him, 40 workers are currently working in this area daily. Small vehicles can use the Jorte-Chandibhanjang road as an alternative route.

According to the road division office, the road will be closed in the Sirukhark-Malmul area from Thursday to next December 22nd from 5 am to 9 am, from 12 pm to 3 pm, and from 7 pm to 10 pm.
