Police arrested a youth on the charge of raping a 45-year-old woman in Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality of Palpa district, on Wednesday.
The arrested has been identified as a 17-year-old boy, local resident of Kokaldhara in Rainadevi Chhahara-2.
The teenager has been accused of raping the woman who was sleeping in her rented room on Wednesday afternoon. Actin on the information about the heinous crime, the security personnel deployed from Sardewa-based police post arrested the teenage boy.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
