The United States has opened the Electronic- Diversity Visa (EDV) lottery for 2023. According to the US State Department, the DV lottery was opened at 9:45 pm on Wednesday by visiting the US State Government's site and submitting your original documents. When filling the DV, details like name, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, photo, address, phone number, email should be submitted. The winners of the DV 2023 will be able to obtain a visa by September 30, 2023, while the results will come in May 2022.
Things to pay attention to
- Educational qualification up to class 12 or prescribed work experience is mandatory to fill DV.
- Do not use photo older than 6 months when filling DV Using the full photo is likely to be ineligible for DV.
- Checking and uploading your details and documents. Fill in the details like name, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, photo, address, phone number, email etc. correctly.
- When filling the DV, the married couple should fill in the form and keep details if they have children. Otherwise there may be trouble later.
- Do not forget to fill the application again and again.
