Police on Saturday morning arrested a man in possession of 9 gm of heroin from Bhajani Municipality in Kailali.
The arrested has been identified as Dammar Saud (32), a local resident of the same municipality in Kauwakheda in the district.
Security personnel from the Bhajani-based Area Police Office nabbed him with the substance.
Meanwhile, two youths were detained in possession of 1 gm of heroin by Kanchanpur police from Chawonni Bazaar in Beldadi Rural Municipality-2 on Friday night.
The arrested have been identified as Anil Rana (24) and Janma Kumar Rana (24), both local residents of the same municipality in the district.
They were riding a motorcycle with vehicle registration number MA 3 PA 677. Security personnel deployed from the Beldadi-based Area Police Office nabbed them with the substance during a routine vehicle check.
Further investigation into the cases is underway, informed the police.
