Police arrested three persons involved in gambling offences from Lamahi Municipality-6 in Dang district on Thursday evening. They were apprehended from Modern Hotel.
One of the arrested has been identified as Dev Prasad Chaudhary (25), a local resident of the same municipality in the district while the names of the other two have not been disclosed.
Security personnel deployed from the Lamahi-based Ward Police Office nabbed them. The police also seized Rs 144,745 and one deck of cards from their possession.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed the police.
