The meeting of the top leaders of the three major political parties has ended. After the meeting of the top leaders, the obstruction of the House of Representatives, which has been going on since Wednesday, will be removed from today.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat has informed that at the meeting held today at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office at Singha Darbar, on the initiative of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal , it was agreed to open the obstruction of the Federal Parliament.
Since last Wednesday, parties including the main opposition CPN (UML) have been disrupting the meetings of both houses of the federal parliament. This morning, the top leaders of the parties affiliated to the ruling coalition requested the Prime Minister to hold a dialogue with the top leaders of the major parties regarding the opening of the obstruction of the House.
Prime Minister Prachanda, Chairman of the main opposition party CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli and Chairman of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba were present at the meeting held at Singh Darbar.
At the request of Prime Minister Prachanda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire has postponed the meeting of the House of Representatives, which was called for 1 pm today, to 3 pm.
