A 63-year-old cyclist died after being hit by a pick-up vehicle on Sunsari's Chatra road. The police identified the cyclist as Chandra Raj Dahal.
Similarly, a motorcycle got out of control on the road at Panchthar, Salbari, ending the life of 24-year-old motorcyclist Bhim Bahadur Majhi.
On another occasion, a truck that was on the road at Acharyali, Jumla, fell down about 500 meters from the road. Truck driver Avinash Lama died on the spot.
