Currently, the western low-pressure system has a partial effect in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of the weather system has caused partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and fog in the Terai region.
In the Kathmandu Valley, it has been getting sunny for two days from morning to noon but it has been getting colder in the afternoon. According to the latest details of the department, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu is three degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 16 degrees Celsius. The sun has set in most parts of the country including Kathmandu this morning.
According to the seasonal bulletin of the Division, there will be partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki, and Lumbini Province this afternoon. It is said that the same weather system will be maintained even at night.
