Police arrested two people with Rs 18.50 lakh and IRS 9 lakh from Bardaghat Municipality-12 in Nawalparasi district.
The arrested have been identified as Yogendra Yadav (35) of Palhinandan Rural Municipality-2 in the district and Samir Khan (27) of Uttar Pradesh in India.
They were riding on a motorcycle with registration number LU 16 PA 2729. Semari-based Area Police Office nabbed the duo during a routine vehicle check.
They have been handed over to the Butwal-based Tax Investigation Office for necessary actions, informed District Police Office, Nawalparasi (West).
