A jeep driver Krishna Prasad Khatiwada, 55, of Birendranagar municipality in Surkhet district died when the jeep met with an accident at Raptisonari rural municipality in Banke district, according to Area Police Office, Kohalpur.
The jeep was heading towards Kathmandu. The jeep driver died on the way to medical College, Kohalpur.
Three others were injured in the incident. Of them, the condition of Shishir Gyawali, 22, of Birendranagar municipality-7 is critical.
Likewise, a pillion rider, Nagendra Prasad Koirala, 53, of Urlabari-4 died when a motorcycle (Ko 25 Pa 4651) overturned on the road at Kankai municipality-3 in Jhapa district.
According to the District Traffic Police office, Jhapa, seriously injured Koirala died in the course of treatment at Birta City Hospital, Birtamod.
