Two people who were infected with the coronavirus died during the course of treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj, early this morning.
A 43-year-old man of Dangaha-4 in Sarlahi district, who had been suffering from pneumonia and respiratory problems, and a 43-year-old woman of Shrawan municipality-7 in Bara district died of coronavirus, informed COVID Coordinator at the Hospital, Dr Saroj Roshan Das.
The man who was admitted to the hospital on April 27 had tested positive for coronavirus on the same day while the woman tested positive during the antigen test. The woman was admitted to the hospital on April 26.
A total of 11 people have died of the coronavirus at Narayani Hospital and Narayani Vayodha Hospital died in the last three days, according to the District Administration Office, Parsa.
