Police arrested two youths with brown sugar from Arjundhara Municipality-11 in Jhapa.
The arrested have been identified as Rupesh Shah (21) of Biratmode Municipality-4 and Bibek Baniya (21) of Haldibari Rural Municipality-3 in the district. They had been arrested with 2.90 grams of brown sugar.
They were riding on an auto with registration number ME 1 HA 3431. Security personnel deployed from the Buspark-based Temporary Police Post nabbed them with the substances during a routine vehicle check from New Buspark in Jhapa on Saturday morning.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
