"Ultrasound" service has started at Chhapia health post in Siyari Rural Municipality of Rupandehi.
Ultrasound service has been started for health examination of pregnant women, infants, and other patients. Lumbini state government has provided the ultrasound machine.
Buddhi Bahadur Gharti, head of the health department of the rural municipality, informed that Siyari Rural Municipality was selected and trained by the provincial training center for ultrasound operation. Chairman Thaneshwar Ghimire presented the machine to Siari-4 Ward President Sriram Yadav during a program today.
Health inspector Lalita Pun informed that the ultrasound installed in Chhapia will provide mobile services to all health institutions in the municipality.
Siyari has five health posts, two basic health posts, one community health center, and one Ayurvedic health institution.
