The UN Resident Coordinator in Nepal, Sara Beysolow Nyanti on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa at the Nepali Army headquarters in Kathmandu.
The meeting between the two focused on various subjects including the participation of the Nepali Army in the UN, said the Directorate of Public Relations and Information, Nepali Army.
The NA has expressed the hope that the meeting would strengthen and make bilateral relations between the Nepali Army and the UN cordial.
