During the 75th anniversary of Nepal-US relations, Nepalese mountaineers Karma Tenjing, Mingma Sherpa, Changdawa Sherpa, Mingma Gybu Sherpa, Zangbu Sherpa, Pasang Dawa Sherpa, and Karma Gyalje Sherpa carried the flag of Nepal-US friendship to the top of Mount Denali, the highest peak in America.
Earlier, Nepali mountaineer Pasang Phurba Sherpa was also involved with this team in the campaign to bring the same flag to the top of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.
In an event held in Kathmandu, US Ambassador Randy Berry congratulated the climbers and accepted the flag. The mountain that usually takes three weeks to climb was completed by those climbers in three days.
