Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by earthquake that occurred with its epicenter in Doti district on Tuesday.
Paying tributes to those who died in the earthquake, Vice-President Pun extended condolences towards the bereaved family members. He also wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
The Vice-President drew government's attention to make arrangement of medical treatment to the injured as well as food and accommodation to earthquake survivors.
Vice-President Pun's Press Coordinator Manoj Gharti Magar said VP Pun also drew attention of the government towards preparedness to be protected from possible natural disasters including earthquake and to lessen the losses caused by natural disaster.
