The Election Commission has stated that voter identity (ID) cards will be distributed today and tomorrow.
Voter ID cards will be distributed by the polling teams deployed at the polling stations.
Voters who have registered their names in the voter list for the first time and those who have applied to the concerned district election office claiming that their identity cards are missing will be given voter identity cards from the polling stations on May 11 and 12.
The commission will also provide voter education.
Commission Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel said that there would be a program to provide information on the correct way of voting.
Earlier, the commission had provided training to all the polling personnel including the Chief Election Officers, Election Officers and volunteers at different places.
