The weather that has remained partially to generally cloudy in the majority of the parts of the country for some days will continue for some more days.

The weather condition formed due to the influence of the local wind will improve gradually, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The Kathmandu Valley has been hazy due to local wind and air pollution. Meteorologist Manju Basi shared, "The current weather condition shows that the weather will not improve immediately."

High wind or heavy rainfall is a must to clear off the hazy condition. Meteorologist Basi ruled out possibilities for both conditions in immediate days. Province no 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki province, and hilly regions have been partial to generally cloudy. Other provinces have clear weather conditions, she shared.

Similarly, light snowfall is predicted today in a couple of places in the high hilly and mountainous region in Gandaki Province and Province no 1.

Likewise, Province no 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki province, and Lumbini province will have partial to generally cloudy weather tomorrow. The remaining provinces will witness clear weather conditions. Chances of light snowfall are higher in high hilly and mountainous regions in Province no 1, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today was 8.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum was 20 degrees Celsius, said the Department.

Jumla recorded the lowest temperature today at -2.8 degrees Celsius while Bhairahawa had the highest temperature at 29.8 degrees Celsius.
