A woman died after being attacked by a tiger in Madhuwan Municipality-2. The deceased has been identified as 49-year-old Kaushika Shahi of the same locality.
The incident took place at Janajagriti Community Forest at around 6 pm today, according to District Forest Officer at the Division Forest Office, Praveen Bidari. Twenty-three people have been killed in attacks by wild tigers in Bardiya in the last three years.
