On the occasion of World Environment Day, 200 medicinal plants have been planted in the premises of Saraswati Secondary School in Bhimkatta Municipality.
According to Shivaraj Awasthi, Information Officer, Division One Office, Kanchanpur, 200 saplings including Harrae, Barrae, Amla, Tejpat, Bottlebrush and Parijat have been planted in the school premises. Acting Chief District Officer Ashok Kumar Bhandari, Divisional Forest Officer Shambhu Prasad Tiwari, Chief Fighter of Nepal Army, Superintendent of Police of Nepal Police, Superintendent of Armed Police and others participated in the tree planting program.
