Police in Bara district on Tuesday arrested a youth on the charge of killing a teenage boy in Nijgadh Municipality-9.
The arrestee has been identified as Arun Kumar Sah (29) of Nijgadh-4.
Sah had fled the scene after he allegedly killed Rohit Sharma (18), alias Kalu, son of Bhigeshwor Sharma of Nijgadh-9, according to police.
Acting on the information that Sharma was found murdered lying in a pool of blood on his bed, a joint team of police personnel deployed from Bara District Police Office (DPO) and Nijgadh-based Area Police Office reached the incident site and rounded up the suspect from a grocery store in Chandranigahapur.
The preliminary investigation shows that Sah had been lurking at Sharma's house to take vengeance on him since Monday night and killed him the following morning.
Meanwhile, Sah had been taken into police custody for further investigation into the murder case, police informed.
