Police arrested a youth on the charge of raping a 25-year-old woman in Okhaldhunga district on Monday night.
Police identified the arrestee as Janak Rai (24) of Richuwa in Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-5.
Acting on the information, a team of police personnel deployed from Okhaldhunga District Police Office arrested Rai.
Rai had allegedly raped the woman at her residence on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
