The chances of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inducting new ministers in the Cabinet are slim at the moment. PM Oli will be taking the oath of office and secrecy at 2:30 pm today at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
As it is highly likely that Janata Samajbadi Pary-Nepal (JSP) too could join the government PM Oli will refrain from adding new ministers to the Cabinet given the current pretext. Moreover, the government will also have to start preparing for the budget of next fiscal year.
Chairperson of JSP, Mahanta Thakur and senior leader Rajendra Mahato have said that it would be easier to join the government if certain issued related to Madhesh were first addressed. It is likely that new ministers will be added to the Cabinet only after the budget for next fiscal has been announced.
