The Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives has decided to form a sub-committee to study the overall foreign policy of the country. Today's meeting of the committee has decided to form a foreign policy discussion sub-committee to discuss and study the reports submitted so far on the country's foreign policy, implementation status, and issues that need to be improved.
Chairperson Pavitra Kharel Niraula informed that at least one member from each political party is in the committee including Pushpa Bhusal, Dr. Deepak Prakash Bhatt, and Liladevi Sitaula. The sub-committee will make recommendations on issues that need to be rectified and prioritized in the foreign policy. The sub-committee will also hold workshops involving eminent scholars from different parts of the country to suggest changes in the government to end the constantly changing foreign policy of Nepal.
Chairman Kharel informed that a sub-committee has been formed to discuss the important and in-depth issues of foreign affairs. He said that in-depth discussions should be held on Nepal's foreign affairs and a quick foreign policy discussion sub-committee should be set up to make it easier to find and dig up old documents and recent reports. It was informed that the intention was to form a sub-committee to make suggestions.
